Open door policy

Quite often as managers, we want our team members to know that we have an open door policy, so they should be able to bring any issues or ideas to us at all times. As managers and owners this is an absolutely good idea. However, in personal relationships, we should have a closed door policy because we should have boundaries of what comes in and out of our lives.
